The National Tourism organisations Canada have a massive role to play. More importantly, in the promotion of Tourism activities in Canada. These are activities on the national level. The national organisation definitely has a huge vision to compel the world to explore Canada. The CTC works very closely with its partners in tourism. Importantly, with government for purpose of advertising and market Canada. Primarily, for the sake of conducting industry research. Also, the studies and to promote product and industry development.
The efforts of Destination Canada are growing on an everyday basis. Hence, that’s the main reason why it is the national marketing organisation of Canada. The agendas for 2022 are very clear. These includes, promoting Canadian Tourism in the Int. sector. Apart from this, covering the losses of the past two years. That is, 2020 and 2021, the most damaging years of pandemic. TOURISM INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF CANADA - (TIAC):
TIAC or Tourism Industry Association of Canada like Destination Canada is yet another organisation that promotes Tourism into Canada. This is through market research & other types of research activities. Partially, or fully focused on the Travel & Tourism sector. It is the national private-sector advocate for the Canada’s Tourism industry. Hence, representing simultaneously, the interest of Tourism business community nation-wide. Particularly, while promoting positive measures that are key measures & actions that helps the industry grow and prosper at the same time. Tourism sector has suffered the most due to the effects of the pandemic, COVID-19. Mainly, due to the lock downs and travel restrictions.
INDIGENOUS TOURISM ASSOCIATION OF CANADA (ITAC):
ITAC or Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada has a huge purpose for Canadian Tourism. Furthermore, the mission is to improve the socio-economic situation of the Indigenous People. These are the people, i.e. the inhabitants within the Ten Provinces and Three Territories of Canada. Purely, for the sake of Indigenous people, i.e. the Inuit communities in Canada. The communities that are comparatively lesser in numbers. However, they have a very important role in Canada’s progress in all regions. People who are saturated in Canada like sugar content in milk, have been playing vital part in Canada’s history.
The organisation ITAC will definitely develop relationships with other groups and stakeholders as well. Obviously, with the same mandates, i.e. promoting cultural Tourism in the country.
TOURISM & TRAVEL RESEARCH ASSOCIATION OF CANADA:
Why research has been identified as a key aspect in Canada's Tourism? Especially, in the Tourism sector is vitally due to the size of Canada. The Canadian chapter of Tourism & Travel Research Association of Canada is a dedicated organisation. An organisation for the individuals who are looking in advancing the quality effectiveness of tourism research & marketing. Especially, since marketing & research are closely knit. Furthermore, they both enjoy a gorgeous relationship together.
CANADIAN TOURISM HUMAN RESOURCE COUNCIL:
CTHRC or Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council is one of the 34 national sector councils. The main aim of this Human Resource Council is to promote Tourism with a different perspective. They aim to support the labour all over Canada. Hence, while improving the quality of the Canadian labour force at the same time. Furthermore, also assist the businesses to become more flexible in improving. Hence, as well as meeting up with the changing competitive demands.
ROLE OF THE NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANISATIONS IN THE NEW YEAR ‘2022’:
In the New Year, i.e. 2022 the role of the above organisations is even more practical & one with even more impact. Furthermore, highly important & prominent in terms of the outcomes. These organisations along with its different stakeholder organisations that includes VIA Rail Canada, Air Canada Johnston Group & Wow Hospitality concepts. Also, includes Canada Inns and Calm Air have a massive role to play in terms of the restoration of Tourism in Canada. Tourism Canada has been highly affected in terms of the number of financial & economic setbacks. These are massive setbacks that have happened lately in last two years. Primarily, due to the pandemic COVID-19 & a series of lock downs.
